Nickname: SCOOTERS, This name came from the CB radio craze of the 70s. I had a golden brown 1960 MGA (that I wish I still had) with a CB radio. My "handle" was Golden Scooter. Therefore, I use it now.

Alternate nickname: SCOOT<S, SCOOT <S and if you see STARTREK then that’s me too.

Hobbies and activities beside pod: Mountain biking, golf, music & singing (tenor), Boy Scout assistant Scout Master, camping, and travel.

About me: I married Nancy May 9, 1981. Our first child was Larry November 5, 1985 then Sharon September 22, 1993. I am a registered professional engineer since 1987. I started an engineering company in May 1997 called Nanlee Engineering where I am owner and chief engineer. Did you know that POD is an executive stress reliever?

My mom tells me that my dad's family comes from Germany. That in the 1850s my great grandfather came over to the USA. His last name was Kube. He changed it to Kuba and then to as it is today Cuba. My mom goes on to tell me that my Great, Grandfather (also Great, Great and Great, Great, Great) came from Weissenhasel, Province of Hassen, Germany. The mill they owned is now called Gerlachsmuhle. According to her contact in Germany, there are no more Kube's left in this area. She thinks there are still some Kube families because she found them in the telephone book when she was in Germany a couple of years ago. If anyone knows of Kube families from this area please let me or my mom know.

my best race results, 21 on Road70 hehe because I timed out with Dr.Death getting his best time.
Highest GS points came with SCOOT<S with 2043. TEAM results: #1 with the Scorpions in TEAM POD's 3rd season.
